Ideal-tek Tungsten Carbide Cutters are specially designed for cutting hard metals. Hard

wire cutters can be used on single or multiple filars and for lateral or internal cuts. Typical TUNGSTEN CARBIDE CUTTERS
applications include cutting stents, braided mesh, catheters and guide wires in medical
device manufacturing.

To enhance tool life, we have added an ANTI-SHOCK system set screw that secures one
blade against the other ensuring a flush cut to a given standoff while preventing the blades
from colliding or overlapping.

Tungsten carbide cutters meet the most challenging demands of the
Medical Device market. Made of high quality ball bearing steel, they
feature Tungsten carbide inserts (81 HRC) that allow to cut hard
wires preventing blade damaging.
