Premium Hard chrome vanadium steel -
long lasting durability!
Hand tools, such as screwdrivers, where the reliability, safety
and longevity of use depend on the elasticity and at the
same time on the hardness of the stems, are made of special
alloyed tool steel. This, with a higher content of selected
elements, enables greater durability. In the Premium Hard tool
steel, chrome vanadium steel with a molybdenum content
enables, in addition to greater durability, greater tensile
strength and toughness, while the increased silicon content
increases elasticity and reduces susceptibility to cracks.
Adequate hardness and wear resistance are achieved with an
appropriate carbon content.
Special alloy tool steel 73MoV52, compliant
with EuroDirective 2000/53/EC:
› 0.60% molybdenum for greater tensile strength and
toughness
› 1.15% silicon for greater elasticity and reduced susceptibility
to cracking
› 0.70% carbon for adequate tool hardness and wear
resistance
